FT/Perm: Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist – Denver Tech Center.
The IT Support Specialist must be able to perform all aspects of problem identification, resolution or escalation of problem to the appropriate IT support area(s). Position must also be able to document problems and solutions, and record all activity and communications regarding problems. Will also identify trends and present solutions for emerging issues. Responsibilities: Perform analysis and trending of trouble tickets, malware, and systems/service interruption and provide recommendations to mitigate anticipated issues; To constantly look for means of improving end-user efficiency through the identification of technology related work flow bottlenecks. i.e. software configurations to safeguard data or streamline repetitive tasks; To provide exceptional customer service to end-users in the expedient and durable resolution of technology challenges; Monitor and maintain company’s anti-malware applications and stay abreast of threats and resolutions; To serve as a collaborative team member, contributing knowledge and effort to any initiative; Serves as a part of the IT team performing any necessary duties to support the organization; To proactively present solutions to known and unknown weaknesses.
Preference will be given to candidates with Microsoft certification(s).
Comp: 40-50K Base (depending on years of relevant experience, education, certification(s), etc. +paid vacation, full bennies, etc.).
