Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, the primary purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department in the areas of onboarding, immigration, and benefits administration. The role provides support such as processing and tracking confidential documents, preparing documentation for new hires, and establishing and maintaining employee personnel and benefits files in a timely manner. The position is located in Sunnyvale, CA and will support the Human Resources function as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer the new hire on-boarding and termination processes, including preparing paperwork, processing background checks, and creating/maintaining personnel files
Conduct New Hire Orientations
Benefits and 401k administration and reporting
Inputs employee personal data into human resources information system (HRIS) database. Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
Primary contact for immigration vendor and immigration reporting
Coordinate trainings and Company meetings
Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information, benefits, onboarding, immigration, and policies and processes
Assist with Company Event Planning
Generating and maintaining employee data reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, and 2-5 years of Human Resources experience.
Experience with Immigration, Leave Administration, and Benefits Administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)- High proficiency in Excel
Ability to work in a stressful environment, taking initiative & prioritizing multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with all levels throughout the organization and cross-functionally
Displayed strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and keep deadlines with minimal supervision
Demonstrated interest in continued professional development and personal growth
Availability to work Monday-Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
