Role:
The Director, Content and Digital Marketing Strategy is a brand new position in their growing marketing team and will be in charge of defining and executing their global digital and content marketing strategy. This role will establish Digital and Content as the focal point for innovative marketing, driving creative and groundbreaking strategies and execution across the web, mobile and social to ensure we are achieving maximum impact/ROI for brand and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Recommends and oversees the execution of targeted digital marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for products, services, and solutions globally.
Secures partner initiatives, scoping and executing on initiatives; develops relationships with digital marketers at our partners and customers to drive ongoing opportunities.
Partners closely with Global Communications/PR on social media strategy, execution and content/asset creation.
Partners closely with Global Field Marketing on design, content and partnership efforts on regional or country specific sites/partner opportunities as well as go-to-market strategies (digital component).
Manages allocated budget for digital efforts, engaging with outside vendors as needed.
Educates and inspires internal stakeholders as the subject matter expert in online, digital and interactive marketing strategies and techniques.
Responsible for optimizing existing and new content for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.
Designs the integration of content activities into traditional marketing campaigns and leverages market data to create content that is engaging, supports a point of view and leads to critical actions
Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness. Gathers data and handle analytics and works with owners of particular content to revise and measure particular content and marketing goals.
Qualifications:
10+ years relevant marketing experience in the digital/content realm, preferably in hi-tech
Bachelors or Master�s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field.
Deep understanding/ knowledge of effective digital strategies, as well as online properties including placement of content/assets on partner sites globally.
Creative leader with demonstrated aptitude in developing impactful digital programs. Ability to come up with the big idea, bring a team together, secure funding and bring the idea to life
Experience managing international web presence/sites highly desired.
Strategic, analytical thinker who can solve problems creatively and leverage our spend/partner relationships for maximum impact.
Ability to think broadly and "outside the box" about digital opportunities and execution – including new partner opportunities and app development.
Fluency and experience managing and integrating digital marketing programs (email, SEM, SEO, Social) to business and consumer audiences.
Ability to think strategically and recommend digital solutions to achieve business objectives
Expert knowledge of online marketing tools, technology, user practices and industry direction.
Experience in defining site architecture, layout and navigation in support of user-centric design strategies.
