Quality Assurance Engineer
The QA Engineer will be responsible for preparing and executing test procedures for the
verification of product quality. We are looking for an individual who can work in a fastpaced,
versatile environment. The primary job responsibility will be to will review software
design documents and technical specifications, develop testing approach, create test
plans and scripts (both manual and automated test scripts), execute the scripts, document
defects, and interact with software developers and operations personnel to clarify
scheduling, design issues, integration requirements and other operational issues. The right
person for this job will have experience with Agile methodology as well as understand and
thrive in a start-up environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Strong analytical and issue isolation skills.
• Must have working knowledge of quality assurance and formal system development
methodologies.
• Identify, analyze and document defects, questionable functions, errors and
inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens and content.
• Team-oriented, ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effectively communicate (written and verbal) with developers, managers and end
users.
• 5+ years of QA experience required.
• Experience with mobile testing.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Multimedia/video a plus.
• Work collaboratively with designers, product managers and developers in meeting
tight deadlines utilizing SCRUM in an Agile environment.
• Use of automated testing tools and standards.
