[KITlist] Internal Communications Program Manager (Palo Alto, CA)

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Program Manager to partner with the Director of Communications for the Americas Sales team at our client in Palo Alto, CA. This consulting role will focus on the development, delivery and measurement of internal communications focused on thought leadership, company acquisitions, business opportunities, technology solution updates and organizational announcements.


Specific Responsibilities:

* Build an internal cross-functional content team for the collection of relevant information and data points in support of the overall communications priorities
* Develop and manage a "call for content" process for internal stakeholders to engage with and provide input into the Sales Enablement content development cycle
* Synthesize content input from multiple sources and make content relevant in relation to the business priorities of the Americas Sales team
* Develop content that maintains continuity of structure, thought, and style across a range of digital and event mediums for the purpose of strengthening alignment and business results
* Advise on execution strategy of the communications priorities
* Manage monthly production of newsletters, including gathering internal content from cross-functional teams and subject matter experts, working with vendors to format the content, working with vendors to refine the delivery format, define metrics and report on results regularly
* Manage regular updates to the Americas web portal, including edits and additions to the content as submitted for newsletters, weekly news item updates relevant to the global team, defining metrics and reporting on results regularly
* Manage customer wins program to include content development, content publishing and distribution, awareness of recognition program development, internal approval process, and delivery process


Skills:

* 7 - 10 years of internal or corporate communications experience in the technology sector for at least one F500 company. Experience in data center, virtualization and cloud solution environments highly desirable
* Ability to filter through input from multiple sources and prioritize content based on strategic priorities: the goal is to align to the high level vision, not to include every request that comes to you
* Excellent verbal and email communications skills needed to work well with all levels of the company, from peer level managers to upper level executives; diplomacy and clarity are required
* Self-starter and problem-solver, looks for ways to approach a challenge, is proactive and comes to the table with proposed ideas
* Strong experience working with messaging architectures, including sub-priorities by geography or target audience
* Experience managing sensitive (organizational) and confidential (acquisition) information is preferred
* Experience supporting a sales team is preferred. Understanding of a B2B technology sales team is greatly desired
* Bachelor�s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar


RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 60% onsite at client's office in Palo Alto, CA, 40% offsite/remote/WFH. Local, S.F Bay area applicants only, please. No phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: FT, February 17, 2014 through June 30, 2014 (high potential to extend)
