HR Business Partner Position with American CyberSystems - Duluth Georgia(Northeast Atlanta)

 

Key Result Areas = KRA

 

KRA #1.  Partner with Management to align ACS Group business objectives with employees and consult on Human Resource related issues in designated business unit(s).

Related Most Critical Tasks:

·        Meet regularly with key leaders in assigned business unit(s) to assess, anticipate

·        and deliver on human resource related needs

·        Provide HR guidance to management as appropriate 

·        Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues

·        Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships,

·        build morale and increase productivity 

·        Build and maintain strong working knowledge of the business unit(s)—its 

·        financial position, business plan, culture and competition

·        Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop

·        solutions, programs and policies

·        Provide proactive, client-oriented solutions in areas such as workforce and

·        succession planning, talent reviews, organizational design and leadership

·        development

·        Act as an employee champion and a change agent 

 

KRA #2.  Partner with other members of the HR team to effectively and efficiently deliver HR programs and services within assigned business unit(s). 

Related Most Critical Tasks:

·        Provide assigned business unit(s) with HR services in areas such as performance and talent management, training and development, employee relations/investigations and reward and recognition   

·        Successfully recruit and on-board new salespeople, recruiters and field support for assigned business unit(s) 

·        Engage with extended leadership team on employee engagement initiatives

·        Ensure HR quality standards and consistency are applied within assigned business unit and across the organization 

·        Execute on key HR programs and enterprise wide initiatives, e.g., performance management, employee benefits (including open enrollment), compensation initiatives, etc.

·        Identify training needs for assigned business unit(s) and determine leadership coaching needs 

 

 

KRA #3.  Help advance the HR function within ACS Group.

                   Related Most Critical Tasks:

·        Communicate needs proactively with the HR department and business management; seek to develop integrated solutions

·        Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added services to management and employees reflecting the business objectives of the organization

·        Support the evolution of the HR function through improving programs, processes, etc. 

·        Participate in various committees and focus groups across the business as needed

·        Represent the voice of the field to the organization relating to HR initiatives

 

 

Profile of Ideal Candidate:

                  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field;  PHR or SPHR certification preferred

                  Minimum of five to seven years of progressive human resource generalist experience

                  Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational performance management, federal and state employment laws

                  Ability to travel 25% of the time

 

 

Knowledge/Skills:

 

•             Proven experience with performance management, succession planning, talent management and leadership coaching/consulting 

•             Strong business acumen

•             Excellent consulting skills

•             Manage multiple business units in a variety of locations

•             Excellent conflict management skills

•             Manage multiple conflicting priorities

•             Flexible and able to interact with employees at all levels of the organization

•             Be self-directed and motivated

•             Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

•             Solid verbal and written communication skills

•             Ability to develop trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results 

•             Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and recommend solutions

•             Effectively partner with the HR organization and the business to envision, develop and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues
