Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Senior Integrated Communications Consultant (B2C) with demonstrated, recent experience creating integrated, internal/external communications strategies for change within small to mid-size organizations. This role will partner with our client, a nonprofit organization in Northern California, dedicated to transforming self and society through holistic, integral education.
The ideal candidate is a strong Integrated Communications professional with experience combining conscious leadership and multi-channel communications strategies to clarify, magnify and multiply the impact of cause-driven educational, environmental, and nonprofit organizations. The consultant must be able to compellingly express the intangible and use marketing communications to make positive change irresistible. Must be a resourceful, creative diplomat with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable results.
Specific Responsibilities:
� Apply a structured and strategic internal/external communications approach and methodology for the change created by renovations of existing areas of the client's retreat facility
� Develop an integrated communications strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the six audience groups being impacted by the change
� Identify potential people-side risks, anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific communication plans to mitigate or address concerns
� Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
� Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans � including communications plan, roadmap, timeline, content map, social and digital media plan along with key messaging for each target audience
� Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors
� Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes
� Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall Global project plan
� Manage relationships with external vendors in order to achieve all aspects of the project change as necessary
Skills:
� 12 to 15 years' experience developing and managing internal/external communications programs and strategy (B2C)
� Public Relations, crisis communication, reputation management experience required
� Experience overseeing change management communications during the renovation of a retreat or hospitality location to ensure maximum occupancy levels, highly preferred
� Ability to create a change communications strategy and engage stakeholders to enable the change strategy to take effect
� Experience with large-scale organizational multi-year change effort
� A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process including change management principles and methodologies
� Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
� Exceptional communication skills � both written and verbal
� Strong analytic and decision making abilities
� Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
� Appreciation and understanding of the concept of human potential
� Bachelor's degree with Business, Marketing, Change Management, Communications, or similar is preferred
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
Location: 100% offsite/remote/WFH�must be open to some travel within Northern California. Local, S.F. Bay Area candidates only. No phone calls please.
Hours/duration: FT, ASAP to September 15, 2014. Full time for four months, beginning in May; part-time for two months and then ongoing in an advisory role
