Reporting to the CEO, the new U.S. Director, Solution Sales will be responsible for driving sales and business development for Enterprise Consulting Services for the Western Region of the U.S.

This new individual contributor role will define and execute sales plans at strategic and tactical levels by building well targeted plans and strategies for the Western Region of the U.S. including:
� Driving effective sales activities,
� Identifying and acquiring prospective customers,
� Developing revenue-producing relationships with decision-making C- level executives,
� Driving the full sales cycle of defined opportunities (from prospect to contract execution)
� Managing opportunity detection and pipeline creation (short and medium term opportunities)
� Provide primary customer interface

The Role
� Responsible for acquiring new clients, from lead identification to closing
� Full Life-Cycle Sales position: Hunter role concerning assigned market/portfolio
� Deal sizes are anticipated in the $0.1 M to over $1.0M

Sales Focus
� SAP Solutions
-HCM: On-Premise Cloud (SuccessFactors). Asset: Stratesys RDS
-Business Analytics (BPC and HANA). Asset: Stratesys RDS
-Treasury/Financial Supply Chain Management. Asset: Stratesys RDS
-Roll-Outs to Latin America/Europe. Asset: Local presence, specific methodology

� Market: Focus on Mid/Large companies (>500M$)
-Retail/Wholesale
-Services
-CPG
-Manufacturing

Responsibilities for this key role include:
� Promote Stratesys brand and portfolio awareness, building long-term relationships
� Collaborate on project proposals addressing clients' business and technical requirements with SAP solutions
� Develop and monitor negotiation strategies
� Collaborate/support with presales, delivery and/or other Stratesys teams to design client presentations, create IT solutions, RFI/RFP responses, etc.
� Provide support and follow up to customers. Ensure and actively monitoring total client satisfaction
� Gain and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Stratesys services portfolio
� Collaboration on preparation/review of annual budget and sales/revenue objectives
� Proactively generate and report a credible/accurate sales forecast

The candidate is expected to travel regularly to visit prospect and customer locations to lead/support sales activities, ongoing relationship building, etc.

Key credentials and requirements for this new U.S. role include
This new role requires a minimum of 5 years prior experience selling in the SAP services market to m�dium/major corporate enterprises.
� Strong background in SAP consultative services selling (USA) to a diversified customer base (5+ years)
� Successful track record achieving progressively higher quota and other sales related goals
� Experience developing innovative and effective sales approach to reach C-level executives
� Full sales life-cycle experience: lead generation/prospect, qualify, pre-sales and close. Ability to independently generate sales leads
� Deep knowledge of the IT/SAP services market on West Coast
� Committed to customer service
� Self-disciplined with strong personal and profesional ethics and integrity. Highly organized and self-starter
� Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Persuasive effective w/ C-level and presentations
� Works well independently and collaboratively

Required Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering, IT/computers or business administration.
MBA is a plus.
Required experience::
� SAP consulting/selling background
� Networking within SAP organization (US sales organization)
� Knowledge of focus industries
� Knowledge of sales focus product solution offering
