We are looking for a Technical Product Manager contractor for a large, high technology company. This is product management role working with the client to define, build and launch managed services solutions. The Product Manager will help build requirements and execute on feature release strategies for the new service elements, including web based portal and API / E-Bonding functionality while focusing on product execution, roadmap planning and working with engineering on product development efforts.
This is an ongoing 40 hour per week contract role (with quarterly renewals), onsite at client���s office in San Jose, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions� employee.
Responsibilities:
� Develop market requirement definitions, use cases and user profiles by working with the field business development leads and direct user feedback
� Communicate and refine the requirements by creating user stories with software development teams and successfully guide product design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
� Collaborate with other product and solution teams to create and manage product solution and collateral
� Assist with product launch activities
Requirements:
� 5+ years experience in product management with emphasis on software product development in an agile environment
� Must have experience with support and managed services business models
� Experience with API development and web based services preferred
� Proven track record in taking solutions, software, or services to market
� Proven business and analytical skills to conduct market analysis, product strategy, product definition, competitive analysis, product pricing, and forecasting
� Ability to effectively work with global teams
� BS/BA required, MBA preferred
