Compensation
This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a pivotal role in the evolution of a fast-growing, highly respected organization. We are seeking an individual of outstanding quality with a distinguished track record. Social Thinking is prepared to offer a very attractive compensation package, including a competitive base salary as well as health, 401(k), and vacation benefits.

The Organization

The focus of Social Thinking operations, services, and products is to explore how the social mind works to help individuals figure out how to use more effective social skills. We create and evolve strategies and curriculum that teach and help foster social learning in individuals who are academically bright but struggle to develop and maintain successful social relationships in school, at work, in the community, and at home. Social Thinking provides concepts and evidence-based teachings through practical frameworks and strategies. Our company is considered to be cutting edge in our field and drives thought leadership related to social learning concepts.

We work with individuals age 3 through adulthood who have different diagnostic labels such as high functioning Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, PDD-NOS, ADHD, NVLD, or murky undiagnosed social learning issues.

Social Thinking is located in San Jose, has been in existence for over 14 years, has over $6 million in annual revenue and a staff of 25. Social Thinking currently offers 22 different products weve published (books, games, posters, etc.) for ages 3.5 through adulthood. We also have an active conference division. The Social Thinking Training and Speakers Collaborative consists of 9 different speakers located around the US and in Asia. We provide 12 different full-day workshops and in the last year have presented information in over 12 different countries. We publish, teach, consult, do clinical training and research.

While we are a for-profit company, our business more accurately reflects a mission-driven, service-based organization. We value humor, hard work, grit and a sense of purpose, yet we in no way reflect a typical Silicon Valley business. We measure our success by the number of people we reach and help with our information each year.
