Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an Event Content Specialist for a project based assignment with one of our high tech clients in San Francisco, CA. The Event Content Specialist will support planning and execution of our client�s annual customer conference. The Event Content Specialist will provide support from mid-May, until the client�s conference in the beginning of September 2014. Additional support will be required during the conference�s postmortem phase, ending September 30, 2014.
The successful candidate has a demonstrated track record of event content management and general logistical support as related to event management and execution. The ideal candidate is highly accountable, self-directed, organized and detail oriented.
Specific responsibilities:
� Serve as main point of contact between client�s event team, internal stakeholders and the venue�s Content Programmer
� Drive project coordination between content teams and web team to deliver agenda on event site by June 2014
� Assist event vendor with speaker asset coordination, including release forms, presentation decks, and headshot/bios
� Support Sr. Events Manager with online and email marketing specific to agenda launch; assist with generating event reports as needed, including company-wide updates and event postmortem reports
� Onsite management of track session classrooms, including speaker prep, volunteers and recording crew
� Manage coordination with third party vendor on postproduction and promotion of all 2014 event videos
� Drive coordination of client�s staff and volunteer roles and manage staff hotel room blocks
� Coordinate additional orders with event vendor, including: printing, special meal orders and assets for client�s event Bash party
Skills:
� 4-6 years of event content management experience, supporting and executing events and/or conferences
� Experience driving project coordination between content teams and web teams to deliver event agendas
� Experience coordinating speaker assets, including tracking prospective speaker inquires and tracking submission forms with content team
� Experience supporting Sr. Events personnel with online and email marketing specific to agenda launch
� Experience with onsite management: i.e, tracking session classrooms, speaker prep, volunteers, recording crews, hotel room blocks, and any additional venue orders
� Bachelor�s Degree with Marketing, Business Administration or similar required
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 100% onsite at client�s offices in San Francisco, CA. Local, S.F. Bay area applicants only, please. No phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: FT; May 26, 2014 � September 30, 2014. Requires flexibility June 2014, onwards. Most flexibility required in August 2014 and during client�s event the 2nd week of September 2014.
