Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full-time Marketing Communications Manager, Tradeshow Events consultant for one of its high-tech clients in the Bay Area.
Please note: This is not a Tradeshow/Event Manager assignment; it is Marketing Communications Manager who develops marcom plans FOR events and tradeshows.
This role will lead the marketing communication strategy and drive marcom deliverables for high-priority corporate trade shows and events and the position is 100% remote, you will need to be set up to work from home. Some travel may be required and a valid passport is required.
Specific Responsibilities:
Lead the marketing communication strategy and drive Marcom deliverables for high-priority corporate trade shows and events
Drive development of the strategic event marketing communications plan, including: objectives and strategy, attendee profile, audience acquisition strategy, and internal and external communications plan
Develop and drive program timelines
Gather content and manage review cycles for internal and external communications
Manage and drive engagement with internal marketing disciplines including: web services, corporate editorial, corporate brand, legal and database management
Manage and drive program deliverables which may include: internal and external web pages, pre-event and post-event communications, direct mail, event collateral, booth digital displays, and speaker presentation formatting
Drive post-show evaluations and reporting
Manage external vendors
Skills:
7+ years of marketing communications experience in the technology industry, including at least one F500 company
Corporate event marketing communications experience a plus
Ability to develop strategy, as well as flawlessly execute plan
Strong understanding of how marketing communications strategy is applied for Trade Shows and Events
Understanding of the creative process
Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and be self-directed
Some travel may be required, a valid passport is required
Bachelor�s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 100% remote/offsite consulting. Please note: some travel may be required. No phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: FT; Starting May 26, 2014, on-going, renewable quarterly
