The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that technical and platform needs are met for the Settlement and Accounting groups. This person will work closely with Settlement and Accounting stakeholders to understand constraints, requirements, and prioritization, and will partner with IT on the grooming and the implementation of those requirements. Ability to effectively organize workload to move multiple projects forward at the same time while keeping communication open cross functionally will be critical for success.


Responsibilities:

�Facilitate and drive business stakeholder discussions to elicit requirements utilizing various tools including but not limited to one on one discussions, workshop-style group discussions, etc.
�Write detailed vision documents for Settlement Accounting sponsored projects, partnering cross functionally with business teams to define and prioritize features and functions. Key will be to drive to documentation that focuses on the problem statement(s) not just the solution(s)
�Drive detailed, technical platform requirements for Settlement Accounting sponsored projects to support system and process needs; partner with Engineering to clarify and groom requirements
�Create solution overview documentation for all Settlement/ Accounting impacting projects
�Partner with business and technology teams to support requirements definition for non-Settlement/ Accounting sponsored projects such as for Digital/Online, Financial Services, and International projects
�Collaborate with IT teams on unit and quality assurance testing for all Settlement Accounting system enhancements, including guidance in the creation of test scripts, test execution, and oversight of bug fixes; coordinate tracking and resolution of all issues and be part of the go/no-go decision at launch
�Lead User Acceptance Testing process through training, development of test scenarios and scripts, execution of testing, issue tracking, resolution, and prioritization etc. for system releases


Qualifications:
�3+ years� experience as a Business Analyst

�Prefer a background as a super user or support specialist for a settlement or enterprise accounting system

�Extensive experience performing data analysis; needs to have a general understanding of databases and structures and must enjoy working with data

�Accounting system experience as a user or in a support role, Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience a plus

�Strong competency in Excel, Access, Visio

�Strong knowledge of SQL query writing

�Project management experience a plus

�Ability to understand end to end processes

�Experience in writing technical specifications and user and/or platform requirements

�Substantial understanding of experience with multiple project management disciplines tools

�Basic competency in MS application Suite- Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

�Bachelor�s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
