The Senior Product Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will collaborate with the company�s sales, corporate marketing, product, and client services teams. Past experience within a digital media, marketing analytics, customer intelligence, and / or predictive segmentation would make you a great candidate.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of product marketing success, ideally marketing to CMOs, and understand how to position and launch solutions that help marketers reach their most valuable customers with precision. He or she will be an expert in translating technical features into benefits, turn problems into solutions and will have a deep understanding of the ad tech landscape, including key players, technologies, and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Formulate and execute product positioning, messaging, and drive go-to-market plans as well as develop market requirement documents.
Collaborate with sales to translate product capabilities into effective problem/solution stories.
Capture customer successes for use in case studies and other marketing materials.
Create data sheets, solution briefs, and whitepapers.
Manage cross-functional implementations to execute, measure, and refine go-to-market strategies for product/feature launches including value proposition and differentiation definition, messaging, training, and sales enablement.
Represent the company at customer briefings, partner meetings, and industry events.
Research and maintain technical competitive intelligence in key usage areas and markets.
Manage content direction of strategic, cross-product industry and analyst events designed to create brand awareness and drive demand generation.
Participate in the creation of thought leadership including social media, webinars, podcasts, videos, etc.
Requirements
5 years total experience product marketing
Demonstrated ability to develop product positioning and messaging.
Proven track record in developing highly effective sales presentations and collateral.
Demonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences, from senior executives at customers, to large audiences, to relatively technical people; must be able to create original content, edit existing content, etc.
Some travel may be required.
Strong project management with ability to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.
Education
BA or BS required
MS or MBA preferred
