Project Manager

� Develop strong working relationships in the business and IT community to ensure overall project success.
� Proactively and aggressively manage expectations with both business and IT stakeholders regarding functionality, scope and deliverables.
� The ability to manage up, sideways and down on all projects. Personally understands all aspects of the project and stays informed on an ongoing basis. Able to communicate progress and issues to all audiences as needed.
� Initiation, planning, execution, control, tracking/reporting and closure of a project or sub projects from an overall and day to day perspective.
� Act as a role model by providing leadership and direction for team members in areas that affect projects, tasks and deliverables.
� Performs role as the owner of the financial risk and organization impact of IT Projects.
� Ability to roll up his/her sleeves and get involved in the details of the project work to ensure the project is moving forward as planned and business expectations will be met.
� Work on multiple, simultaneous initiatives of which he/she will apply applicable business and technical acumen.
� Works with business representative, IT Management, and IT development and support teams to ensure on time, on budget, quality delivery of technical solutions that support the strategic direction of the business and IT.
� Participate in the development of cost benefit analyses, associated budgets and tracking of actual cost spent vs. budget and regularly reporting on project status to management.
� Identifying, assessing, prioritizing, managing project risks and issues.
� Ensuring that applicable regulatory directives are complied with e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, current privacy legislation.
�8+ years of IT project management experience
�Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
�Experience planning and implementing systems integration and development projects
�Experience integrating applications across diverse technical platforms
�Understanding of client/server and web-based systems architecture concepts
�SDLC methodologies: waterfall, Agile/Scrum
�Strong understanding of emerging business solutions, technologies, and delivery methodologies
�Technical knowledge of: MS Project, Visio, MS Office
�Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
�Excellent verbal and written communication skills � able to present information, status, and issues in a clear and concise manner with the goal of driving to a decision
�Excellent organizational and leadership skills
�Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast changing environment
�Flexibility and ability to work collaboratively within a matrix, �virtual� environment.
