SUMMARY:
· The eBusiness Project Manager will serve as the primary point of accountability for highly visible implementations of new capabilities to support the Travelers eBusiness digital strategy.
· As mobile and social platforms become increasingly prevalent in the marketplace to conduct business, these platforms have become an important area of focus for our team as we implement new business solutions.
· The project manager will need to feel comfortable driving discussions around these new and emerging platforms, while demonstrating a strong project management execution discipline.
· The project manager must be comfortable managing across a diverse and senior level stakeholder group, driving consensus, and maintaining a customer focus through the delivery lifecycle.
NO RELOCATION – FULL-TIME POSITION
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is execution focused, and will be responsible for driving teams and project deliverables while operating in an agile framework:
· Manage the delivery of highly visible projects that support achievement of eBusiness and other business unit objectives.
o Apply expert project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations.
o Coordinate planning and execution to ensure cost, time, and quality goals are met.
o Learn and support Agile processes/methodologies within the team and broader eBusiness organization.
o Facilitate the day to day team interactions, remove roadblocks, and support team members

WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Typically possesses a minimum of 5-10 years of Business Project Management or
equivalent experience in the total Project Management life cycle with increasing levels of complexity
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience;
Masters level degree desirable
- eBusiness/Digital experience desired
- Agile team experience desired
- PMP certification desirable
