The Sage Group is looking for an Email Marketing Consultant to work with our client, one of the largest food and drug retailers nationwide with 1,300+ stores. In conjunction with business partners, the Email Marketing Consultant will run a key email program from end to end, including planning, creative development, production schedule, segmentation, testing, and analysis.
Responsibilities Include:
Partner with account management and cross functional teams to develop email program plan.
Integrate the email program plan into the larger marketing messaging calendar.
Partner with Card Marketing to determine the target audience for messaging.
Develop email marketing plans to drive program engagement, including segmentation within the program, if appropriate.
Write creative brief and brief internal and external teams to develop optimum message that follows best practices.
Define and initiate A/B and multivariate tests with goal of continuously improving key metrics.
Develop timeline and project manage the ongoing email development process.
Partner with email vendor (ExactTarget) to setup, test, and deploy campaigns.
Leverage vendor capabilities to optimize performance.
Analyze campaign performance against established benchmarks, summarize key insights, and recommend actions to improve performance.
Skills Required:
5+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years developing corporate email strategy and executing email campaigns.
Deep knowledge of and experience in all aspects of email marketing, including targeting, delivery implementation, best practices, and metrics.
Prior Experience using ExactTarget
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree.
Start: mid-JUly
Timing: 5 months
Location: East Bay, onsite only.
