The Project Manager will use his/her deep understanding of Payment operations and/ or Accounting processes and systems to drive deliverables for projects from a business perspective. Project scope can range from new strategic capabilities across various product lines and business units such as Telecom, Digital/Online, and Financial Services, to the creation/ revision of systems or operational process documentation. Candidate's ability to work cross functionally to develop and execute creative solutions while keeping impacted teams organized and management informed is critical.



The Project Manager is located in Phoenix, AZ


Responsibilities:



- Develop and implement a Settlement Accounting intake process for new projects, products, and initiatives with a focus on methodology, resourcing/ business impacts, and continuous tracking prioritization

- Create and execute a communication and reporting strategy across projects that keeps project stakeholders informed and management apprised of status and issues as necessary

- Document scope and requirements overviews for Settlement and Accounting stakeholders, managing related timelines, prioritization, and deliverables

- Act as a central point of contact cross-functionally, enforcing functional alignment for Settlement, Accounting, Technology, ePMO, and business teams

- Drive launches of new products and programs into Settlement Accounting

- Create business process documentation to support new program launches and execute accordingly across impacted teams internally and externally

- Facilitate user acceptance testing for system releases, including creation of test scripts, training, and test execution. Coordinate tracking and resolution of all found issues

- Create operational efficiencies for programs already implemented, possibly with technical debt, such as handset automation and eNetwork reconciliations and data issues


Qualifications:

- 5+ years relevant project management experience, supporting accounting / settlement operations in financial services or related industry
- PMP certification a plus
- Experience with enterprise settlement and accounting systems implementations, Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of various project management principles and methodologies
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Self-starter with great attention to detail and follow through and who is resourceful and adept at managing through chaos to attain goals
- Enjoys a fast-paced learning environment and has an ability to understand processes end to end
- Ability to effectively negotiate and influence without direct authority
- Strong leadership ability, including the ability to work cohesively and diplomatically with team members at differing levels of skill and experience
- Substantial experience with Microsoft project and other productivity tools
 - Advanced competency in Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Bachelor�s degree in Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
