[KITlist] Training Consultant (San Francisco, CA)

Immediate responsibilities include:

Retirement Investment New Hire Training Program assessing, designing, and delivering content; working with and managing SMEs
Managing workshop logistics such as sending email, registering participants, planning meals, ordering materials, setting up class, and working with vendors
Work with SMEs to design training content for instructor led webinars including R&I post class webinars, and various product training modules
Partner closely with the Head of Training and her team
Provide strategic recommendations and hands-on delivery
Consult with SMEs in various areas of Wealth Management
Work with internal clients to determine specific training needs for employee groups and recommend training solutions
Create course content, lesson plans, audio/visual aids, test criteria, handouts, learning aids and evaluation/measurement tools. Coordinate required equipment and training aids. Ensure the effectiveness of related training materials (i.e., procedures, manuals, handouts, etc.)
Deliver classroom training and facilitate group workshops
Prepare project plans (e. g, scope, scheduling, costs, human resources and operational issues, etc.)
Recommend and direct outside vendors and/or contract employees for specific training programs. Ensure services provided are of high quality and meet the bank's needs in the most cost-effective manner
Skills Required:

Thorough knowledge in training design and delivery
Comfortable with both strategic and tactical projects
Experience with new hire on boarding and organizational development activities
Working understanding of multiple training methodologies
Experience working with business units to conduct training needs assessments, gap analyses desired outcomes
Analytical, with ability to perform ROI for training programs
Strong negotiation skills
Extremely polished, ability to work with senior executives in a consultative manner.
Very strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communications
Wealth Management experience is helpful but not required. An understanding and/or experience of investments is required.
Start: ASAP

Timing: 3-4 months, contract to hire is possible

Location: San Francisco with some off-site work, up to 25% travel required.
