Summary:
Talent Impact is seeking a full time Channel Sales Manager who has a proven track record of working with various routes to market and increase sales. In this role you will develop and execute aggressive growth strategies and tactics to maximize the client's opportunity to reach various business markets. Experience working with distributors is preferred.

*While our client's headquarters are in Las Vegas, Bay Area residents are strongly encouraged to apply. The option to relocate or telecommute is available.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and managing new partner programs that will drive revenue, increase percentage of active partners, and increase partner loyalty.
- Work closely with in-country sales teams to develop route to market planning, revenue generating programs and drive data-driven metrics to be shared on a quarterly basis.
- Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting, program performance metrics as well as recommendations on additions/enhancements to programs and promotions.
- Responsible for maximizing significant growth potential in future years by driving innovative ideas, educating key client executive stakeholders and continuing very high year over year growth rates for the business.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on established and prospective customers to create demand for our products. This activity includes both personal visits and contact by phone.
- Develop a list of prospective customers by market in order to schedule appointments.
- Follow up sales leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, website and other sources.
- Demonstrate products to the customers.
- Utilize competitive information and product knowledge to increase market penetration by positioning of products.
- Must be comfortable speaking to groups of customers and industry professionals to promote the company's products and technologies.
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Sales experience
- Solid understanding of partner business models
- Minimum 8-10 years of technology industry experience
- Experience working with Distributors
- Experience working in a worldwide role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent follow-through and ability to track and communicate ROI
- Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- The ability to read and understand technical articles related to applications for our products.
- Good oral and written communication skills including making presentations that have a positive impact.
- Demonstrated strategic planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint.
- A passion for science with an attitude of service
