Hadoop Solutions Strategist (San Jose, CA)
We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Solutions Strategist to work with a leading networking company to define the joint solution benefits of the client's products running Hadoop. This is a strategic role to work with the client, client partners and customers to ascertain the joint Hadoop/client solution and differentiators in the market.
This is a 3 month (extensions possible), 30 to 40 hours per week role. Must be available for onsite meetings at the client's offices in San Jose, CA. This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities
• Perform the strategic analysis on benefits of running Hadoop on client���s products
• Analyze the key competitors and compare their offerings related to Hadoop and Distributed Databases on other networking product lines
• Work with partners, customers and internal teams to create the messaging and positioning for benefits of running Hadoop Solutions on client���s products
Requirements:
• 5+ years of strategy and competitive analysis experience in a global high technology marketing team
• Solid understanding Hadoop architecture and solutions
• Good knowledge of data storage and data movement technologies
• Knowledge of networking products
• Extremely detailed oriented
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written communication skills
• BS Degree
