Provide timely, high quality, strategic customer, competitor or market intelligence to the North America Organization to support decision making and strategic planning in brand and marketing programmes.
Main Responsibility Areas/Key Tasks:
* Implement and develop market research to ensure comprehensive measurement of the brand, marketplace, consumer dynamics and competition over time.
* Ensure high quality synthesis and analysis, providing in depth understanding and insights relevant to business decisions.
* Provide analytical support for Campaign Evaluation and Annual Planning purposes.
* Integrate industry knowledge, future technology, and socio-demographic trends (needs and behaviors) into product develop programs, collaborating with product and UX designers, road mappers and marketing professionals to concept new solutions.
* Liaise between multiple business units, global counterparts and major customers.
* Supporting major carrier/clients for segmentation understanding and joint research initiatives.
Key Deliverables/Output:
Delivers actionable consumer insights necessary to address business issues, shape value propositions and highlight new opportunities for growth.
Suggested Targets/KPI´s:
* Consumer Insights utilized in key business decisions
* Deployment and utilization of consumer analytics and dashboards by NA markets organization
Qualifications
Key Competencies/Experiences:7+ years experience in one or more of following areas: marketing/brand research, strategic and brand planning, marketing strategy.
* Solid experience in consumer and industrial market research implementing primary and secondary research including qualitative and quantitative techniques to support product portfolio development (hardware and mobile services) and develop ROI models for strategic marketing.
* Strong analytic skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets, identify insights, and synthesize how these insights impact the business and strategy
* Full-knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Ability to execute on all types of research with strong research contacts that show ability to develop relationships and partnerships over time
* Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to present and defend both research plans, recommendations and conclusions based on research findings, analysis, and insights
* Previous experience with segmentation deployment and utilization in all research activities to drive insights and leveragability for the business
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently with multiple constituents with tight timelines and changing priorities
* Ability to lead internal and vendor teams and to manage multiple in-process studies simultaneously
* Above all, you will be self-motivated with high energy, have superior oral and written communication skills, the ability to multi task, excellent analytical skills and a track record for working effectively in teams.
