The Sage Group is looking for a VP of Marketing & Brand Evangelist to work for an online start-up SaaS company in San Francisco. This individual will be responsible for creating the US marketing strategy to drive future growth and bring the "wow" factor to their organization. This candidate will build a world-class marketing team in addition to creating a positive buzz in the SaaS community of their product portfolio.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the US marketing strategy to drive growth and build a world-class marketing team.
- Develop marketing plans that include sales, campaigns, partnership and event programs, and strategic sponsorship.
- Execute public relations, advertising and promotional campaigns.
Skills Required:
- 10+ years of digital marketing and management experience
- Proven success in launching company brands with prior limited exposure
- Track record of successfully building marketing teams that can execute an effective go-to market strategy
- Extensive knowledge and proven success executing SEO & SEM strategies
- Advanced understanding and proven success with PR and social media
- Strong experience analyzing SaaS metrics with ability to make effective data driven business decisions
- Experience with high transaction volume marketing
- Great presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with natural ability to influence and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
