[KITlist] Senior Manager, Publisher Business Development (SF, CA)

Looking for a Senior Manager, Publisher Business Development to join our client's Publisher Development team. The Sr Manager of Pub Dev is an individual contributor and responsible for prospecting, negotiating and closing Premium Publishers and Mobile App Developers. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with top Pubs and excellent relationship building and skills, responsible for creating new business relationships with revenue generating partners and have the ability and agility to adapt to the needs of the network at a given time through strategic analysis and planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, negotiate and close publisher partnerships through cold calling, company marketing initiatives and utilizing existing Pub contacts
• Work cross functionally with internal departments to determine needs of the network
• Market analysis to identify emerging trends and drive business efforts accordingly
• Create lists of ideal prospective partners and refine inventory analytics and onboarding process
• Own the onboarding process through to transition to Account Management team
• Reporting on KPI's

REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of partner BD and/or strategic selling with a mobile or Internet company and understanding of digital ad products with deep understanding of the landscape
• Demonstrated performance meeting and/or exceeding quotas and goals
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in any of the following areas: newspaper, consumer and B2B publishing, broadcast media, web portals, social networks and entertainment companies
• Comfort and ability selling into all level of an organization
• Possess strong knowledge of brand safety in regards to video
• Team player with ability and desire to learn and effectively speak to all aspects of the business
• Detail oriented with strong presence and presentation skills
• Highly strategic and analytic by nature or strong DRIVE to excel in each area required.
