I am a recruiter in SF and the majority…the GREAT majority of my candidates and searches are here in SF. However, I have a client in San Jose, head of a boutique agency that focuses on B2B enterprise accounts. He is looking for a VP to come on board. Someone with strong agency experience, budget management, client management, a history of success in terms of new business development and someone who can mentor and train junior staff. Even though they are a boutique, they are part of an international network of other PR/Advertising/Marketing agencies and the advantage here is that they can offer a scope of services to clients that a regular boutique agency could never do. You will be the third most senior person at the agency which was established in 1983. Currently the office has a staff of 15-18 people. The account work is approximately 85% B2B tech, the rest being consumer tech, social media and product work. Their clients are both international and US based. Ideal candidates would be people who currently lives in the south bay so that there is no commute issues. This is a position to be worked in the office. 8-10 years experience and again, come from a current B2B agency
