Tile (www.thetileapp.com) is a fast-growing seed-funded startup transitioning from a wildly successful crowd-funding campaign ($2.7M) to ongoing direct sales. We're looking for a controller / business-operations generalist to help with our explosive growth. This will be contract initially, with an option to convert to full-time. Initial responsibilities include:
- Manage payroll and track company finances, closely coordinating with our manufacturing specialist.
- Manage the online direct-marketing campaigns and the Web site, overseeing the marketing contractors and Web-site programmer, adjusting spend, troubleshooting anomalies, and managing cash flow between the payment processor, the ad networks, and the bank.
- Ensure ongoing marketing communications with pre-order customers.
- Ensure incoming customer-service, partnership, and investor inquiries are properly routed and serviced, including prompt processing of customer refunds.
You should have experience as a controller and be willing to solve whatever problems the next day brings.
