This individual will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation of the Recruiting Department – primarily supervising the Corporate Sourcing team, tracking metrics, etc.

· We are seeking a Sr Technical Recruiter/Recruiting Manager for a long-term contract, with experience hiring for skillsets in the Apache Hadoop arena (the world’s most popular platform for storing, processing, managing and analyzing big data.)
· The company also assists enterprises and technology vendors in developing and deploying Apache Hadoop-based solutions via support subscriptions, training and certification programs.
· The Senior Technical Recruiter position is vital role to the overall success of the organization.
· The RIGHT person will have an incredible grasp on how to manage a full life cycle recruiting process.
· In this you’ll need to build a strategic partnership with the business unit hiring managers to ensure we are hiring the “A” Players.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the entire recruiting process and act as a candidate / hiring manager advocate
• Evaluate skill level and help manage the offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/declines
• Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager and executive management
• Responsible for sourcing candidates primarily through active networking and job postings
• Compile and update reports for job openings, hires, and post-hires in Jobvite
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred
• At least 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience in a fast start-up environment (corporate (NOT just agency) experience is required)
• Experience in recruiting in highly competitive product development & engineering candidates across all platforms
including Java, C++, OpenSource, etc.
• Solid experience using LinkedIN Recruiter
• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
• SENSE OF URGENCY!!
• Ability to work across multiple divisions and geographical sites
• Ability to grasp new technologies
• Experience with Jobvite ATS is desirable
• Exceptional sourcing capabilities

Recruiting quality talent requires hard work, knowledge, strategy, patience and at times, a little bit of luck. You will need to understand a broad range of issues across the cultures, teams and high-tech industry as well as nuts and bolts of what drives each unique individual candidate.
