About the positions
OSS, especially provided by traditional telecom equipment vendors, is solely used to manage telecom networks. But with the increasing application of virtualization and cloud technologies into telecom networks and the emerging SDN and NFV, the line between IT and CT networks is blurred. The future OSS must be able to manage both IT and CT network. On the other hand, it is essential for traditional OSS to absorb advanced features in IT industries, such as better flexibility and responsiveness to deliver new service.
We are recruiting IT infrastructure architects working with our future OSS software architecture developing team.
Your responsibilities include:
- Future OSS software architecture designing. Collaborate with Huawei HQ to design, implement next generation OSS from architecture point of view.
- Future OSS business requirements analysis.
- Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders
- Future OSS opportunities analysis. Identify key technological trends.
- Analyze telecom OSS & Services development trends, guide the OSS & Services technical planning
- Integration with BSS and other IT systems in terms of techniques.
Requirements & Qualifications (domain specific, partial qualifications taken into account)
- Master or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications
- At least 10 years of R&D working experience in IT technology companies, such Google, Amazon, EMC etc.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure features and requirements. We are looking for someone has past experience in Google, Amazon, and etc., with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS architecture design experience, related to cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong interest and knowledge about industry trends
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Worldwide short-term travels are required
- Hands-on and can-do attitude
Location
This is a fulltime position at our R&D office in Santa Clara, CA, USA. And will have business trips to CHINA by request.
