Walmart Global eCommerce is looking for the right professional to play an important role on our small, high-performing internal communications team. The ideal candidate is adept at balancing tactics with strategic competencies, has a strong appreciation for the fundamentals of internal communications, and a passion for developing fresh ideas that fuel interesting, meaningful interactions and conversations. You must be nimble and able to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment that's also aligned with the world's largest retailer. You should be excited about building community and connecting people to drive alignment, support collaboration and inspire innovation. Responsibilities include:
•Function as one of the leaders on a small high-performing internal communications team for one of the world's largest and fastest-growing e-commerce organizations
•Help drive the vision and strategy for internal communications
•Manage partner relationships with key teams
•Help manage the structure, programs and tools that engage employees and generate meaningful conversations and interactions
•Manage organization-wide and small-scale events that facilitate employee learning, collaboration and innovation – including all hands, meetups and hack days
•Operate within Global eCommerce and across the broader Walmart organization, including U.S. Stores, Sam's Club and International
•Use metrics, data and insights to help manage programs and activities
•Develop new channels to engage employees
Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, or related field and 6 years experience in corporate communication, public relations, or related field OR 8 years experience in corporate communication, public relations, or related field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
•1 year of supervisory experience.
•Foreign language proficiency.
