[KITlist] PMO (Sunnyvale, CA)

37 degrees is looking for a PMO, reporting to the Program Manager, for an international client for a local project based in Sunnyvale.

The PMO will be supporting an ERP re-implementation across the divisions of the company.

Responsibilities:

Assist preparation of strategic project presentations (to senior executives and various stakeholders)
Establish and maintain project documentation in project repository
For key project administration duties, apply knowledge of best practices
Implement project management best practices, including change management, dependency management, organizational communications, key metrics and dashboards.
Provide clear and timely communication regarding the status of the project – schedule, budget, progress to date, risks etc. - to relevant stakeholders
Analyze resource usage & capacity.
Support project planning and prioritization process
Improve project administration processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions

Qualifications:

4-5 years project management experience
Understanding of enterprise software development and infrastructure processes and lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply knowledge
Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately.
Experience with ERP implementation / upgrade, and IT projects, strongly desired
PMP Certification is a plus

Start date: December 2013
Project Length: 1.5 years
