Role: Partner Program Manager- Retail

Position Overview:
Channel impact is seeking full time Channel Program Manager to develop an Authorized Reseller
Program for our client's retail and etail channel. The ideal candidate has first hand experience
developing a reseller program from the ground up, for the retail/e-tail marketplace, and taking it to
market. This role requires being on the client's site daily.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and development of an an Authorized Reseller Partner Program to support the client's new
consumer product launch that will target the Retail and ETail channel.
Develop program objectives, framework, guidelines and structure, based on input from client's
associates, legal, channel and comparable programs
Work with legal on the development of contract and policies – for direct and indirect partners, and
distributors
Influence pricing Policies for each geography
Develop partner value proposition and supporting materials
Develop and execute go-to-market communications
Work with client teams to build process and flow charts for registration process
Work with IT and channel teams on the portal, microsite, registration process, etc.
Develop timeline and drive program to successful and timely execution
Work on the evolution of the Authorized Reseller Program for 2014 product launches
Establish compliance rules and work with client team on selection of compliance company
Develop specialist role job description for ongoing program management and administration
Skill Sets:
Proven track record of designing, developing and launching an Authorized Reseller program
7-10 years of channel program experience
Solid understanding of partner business models
Working knowledge of retail and e-tail channels
International experience is a plus
Proven track record of developing partner go-to-market materials
Works with only minimal management participation.
Strong written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
Excellent follow-through and ability to track and communicate ROI
Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
