Title: Head of Human Resources
Location: Peninsula, San Francisco Bay Area
Overview
The Head of HR will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the HR function and leading organization development initiatives for our growing business. This leader will manage all aspects of HR in coordination with Global counterparts, including an initial focus on strengthening our recruiting process, driving our performance management process, establishing our training trajectory, managing compensation, retention, reward and recognition programs. Our ideal candidate will be a thought partner with senior leadership and establish strong relationships with all our team members.
Responsibilities
Nurture a strong and focused organization culture that emphasizes customers, quality and teamwork
Establish a streamlined and efficient recruiting process to support the growing needs of our business
Create organization development and training programs to support sustainable achievement and changing needs
Drive the evolution and implementation of our performance appraisal process
Manage a competitive compensation and benefits program
Implement HR policies & programs as required to support North American operations as well as expansion into new locations globally
Ensure policies, programs, procedures are compliant with all local, state and federal requirements
Requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills including listening, coaching and training
Strong leadership, project management and time management skills
Minimum of 5 years HR management experience; 3+ years driving talent acquisition
Bachelors degree in Business or other related field; Masters degree, SPHR/ PHR a plus
Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Solid business acumen, management reporting and problem-solving skills
Proficient with business tools in a technology driven organization
Global experience desirable
Strongly prefer a candidate with "start-up" or "ramp-up" experience
