The Sage Group is seeking a Marketing Manager for a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Marketing Manager for one of their Peninsula clients, an early stage online payments company. In this role you will drive marketing campaigns, messaging and product marketing products. This is an exciting opportunity to roll up your sleeves and work with dynamic industry professionals in a rapidly growing space.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with customers (online businesses and nonprofits) on marketing campaigns to promote payment service to their customers or donors
- Work with product and design teams to create prototypes to test so we can optimize messaging and the user experience
- Partner with sales team to create effective collateral
- Develop effective marketing assets (videos, testimonials, case studies) that we can use both online and offline
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in consumer marketing, ideally in a fast moving industry
- Must be high energy, proactive, collaborative, flexible, efficient, a quick study, and have a sense of humor.
- Have a natural tendency to put process in place and strive for efficiency
- Comfortable working collaboratively across departments, as well as with partners and customers to ensure the deliverables meet deadlines
- Exceptional execution and 100% follow-through
- Experience in creation and execution of marketing collateral
- Strong detail orientation and project management skills
- Exceptional communication skills - oral and written
- BA/BS from competitive undergraduate program
Skills Desired:
- Experience working in both a fast-moving startup and at a larger, established, process-driven organization
- Experience working collaboratively with a sales team
- Recent experience launching a new product and developing marketing programs to support it beyond launch
