Senior Director, Channel Marketing

Our client, the market leader in cyber security software is looking for a dynamic and innovative Sr. Director to head up their Channel Marketing team. The successful individual will manage and execute marketing programs across all partner types (Distributors, Resellers, DMR's, VAR's, Service Providers and Alliance Partners) across all segments.

Key responsibilities include:
Design, Lead & Manage their unified Business Partner Program. This will include everything from Program definition, operational readiness, financial modeling, positioning, branding, feedback loops, stakeholder inputs, value proposition development and messaging to press, analysts and partners.
Provide the financial expertise to marry the Business Partner Program elements with their product, revenue and profit goals
Create Partner Go To Marketing plans to capture the key requirements to enable continued growth and sales of their products via Partners
Develop and manage the definition of, policies for and administration of the Partner program Coop and MDF funding pools
Lead the integration of new BU's into their Business Partner Program – program mapping, systems integration, requirements/benefits, financial modeling, etc.
Develop the competitive analysis needed to provide the insights that spur program design decisions, financial incentives, etc.
Provide strong feedback and direction on company-wide marketing and product directions, specifically representing the Partner considerations, but more generally as a company thought leader
Act as custodian for Marketing by keeping Partner Sales and Operations up to date on product and marketing issues, and marketing initiatives
Act as a key spokesperson to partners for marketing strategy, company positioning and messaging
Constantly lift the bar through high quality hiring, training and coaching. Train and motivate a dynamic team of program marketing managers and staff
Build and maintain strong connections and relationships with the other key business functions of Partner Sales, Partner Marketing, Product Units, Services, HR & Finance

Education and Experience
At least 8+ years as a strategic Channel Marketing leader, with experience leveraging the internal corporate marketing team to drive joint messaging and corporate campaigns
Experience either at a security solutions company or a strong understanding of the industry
Strong team player – able to build strong relationships within field and Channel Account Managers, as well as the broader Channel/Alliances and marketing teams
Results driven, with a proactive approach to setting strategy with minimal resources and building a function from the ground up.

Bachelor in Marketing or similar would be preferred, MBA a plus
