[KITlist] Customer Marketing Manager (SF Peninsula , CA)

The Sage Group is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager for one of their Peninsula clients, a leading marketing automation software company. In this role you will be part of the team that oversees a dynamic online customer community, user groups, sales references, marketing references, customer-facing conferences, and customer award programs. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to secure customer references and develop plans for engaging customers. You will use social channels to monitor customer activity, and gather content to be used for case studies, presentations, press releases and blogs.

Responsibilities Include:


- Document and publish all aspects of client's customer success, including selection criteria, implementation details, and ROI.

- Communicate client success via high-quality success snapshots, case studies and videos.

- Coordinate customer reference program to support Small-Medium and Enterprise sales, media and analyst references; delivering the right reference for each situation.

- Make sure clients feel rewarded for their support; serve as a liaison to the various internal teams like Customer Success, as appropriate.

- Work with events team to support all aspects of any customer-centric events; recruit and coordinate with individual leaders to support Regional User Group events.


Skills Required:



- Bachelor's degree; with a major focus in advertising, marketing or communications/journalism a plus.

- 2-4 years marketing experience within a B2B software company is required.

- Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization and with external customers, including the ability to interface professionally with clients; asking appropriate questions in eliciting information to interpret and synthesize information.

- Experience collaborating with Fortune 500 companies and C-level executives is strongly desired

- Strong written and oral communications skills. Exceptional ability for, and love of, writing compelling content for multiple channels, both online and offline.

- Demonstrated creativity and immersion in social media channels with a strong passion for engaging with customers via traditional and social channels.

- Proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic; driven to meet or exceed expectations; careful attention to detail.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required; Salesforce.com experience is highly desired.
