The Sage Group is seeking a Lead Senior Business Analyst who is passionate about mentoring and instilling best practices in business analysis organizations for one of our San Francisco healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of business analysis experience, very strong analysis and online background with demonstrated experience assisting in the setup of analysis teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information and distinguish user request from the underlying true needs of this new tool.
- Lead the selection, implementation and roll-out of the organization�s new requirements repository.
- Hands-on experience with multiple requirement tools and developing templates for analysis teams, as well as extensive experience rolling out the business analysis function in a fast paced and matrixed environment.
- Advocate for and roll-out industry best practices into existing processes.
- Author documentation standards and guidelines to improve consistency and quality for requirements written by team's business analysts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship for capturing business requirements, authoring agile stories, and performing UAT.
- Attend and share learnings from BA focused trainings, events or conferences.
- Author and conduct business analysis training for the organization.
Skills Required:
- 10+ years of business analysis experience.
- Undergraduate degree a must. MBA or Masters in Business or an Engineering discipline preferred.
- Intimate understanding of business analysis best practices with ability to apply this knowledge.
- Able to rapidly ramp-up, be nimble, and quickly form productive and positive working relationships with Business and Engineering partners.
- Aptitude for skillfully translating process gaps into targeted recommendations.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to clearly present data, context, and implications to senior business partners.
- Outstanding team player with a client partnership mindset to interact effectively with colleagues and gain group support for changes advocated.
- Knowledgeable on technical data analysis, functional design, and multiple SDLC methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, RUF, Kanban).
- Strong project management skills including the ability to define the project scope, establish a timeline, coordinate resources, communicate status, and manage the delivery of results.
- Experience with large online consumer facing sites a plus.
