Role: Territory Marketing Manager- West, South
Location: West or South US
Timeframe: Feb-Aug (5-6 months)
Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking a full time Territory Marketing Manager to provide the services listed below. This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact.
• Provide leadership and support in defining, developing and executing marketing campaigns with Regional VARs in the West and South areas.
• Work closely with a variety of teams across organizations to create a marketing plan for each area as well as work with the top partners.
• Establish strategy and gain buy-in from stakeholders, coordinate execution and manage the area budgets.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years marketing with channel partners. In addition the candidate has a combination of strategic vision and tactical organizational skills as well as a comfort level communicating with participants and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds. This is a great opportunity for someone with relevant experience to hone their project management skills in a position that has significant visibility and measurable impact across the business.
Skill Sets
• 5+ years of channel marketing experience
• Experience creating marketing plans for named channel partners
• Experience working with channel sales organizations
• Solid understanding of partner business models
• Strong marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, broad based marketing initiatives.
• Works independently and leads teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment and experience.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong project management, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience.
