Position Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Partner Marketing Manager to help drive user acquisition through our partners. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Partner Marketing Manager will help develop and execute highly effective partner marketing programs designed to create vibrant communities within the partner�s ecosystem. As one of the primary contact for Startgrid partners, the Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping to increase Startgrid�s user penetration and ensure partners hit their acquisition and engagement metrics.

Responsibilities:
� Assist in the creation of annual regional marketing plan, identifying priority areas/partners and strategies to achieve market penetration goals
� Collaborate with partners to develop and execute partner marketing programs designed to drive user acquisition and engagement
� Develop partner communication, joint collateral, webinars, tools, and other content required for successful launch of programs and ongoing partner account management, working with Product and Marketing teams
� Build and manage partner promotional calendar
� Attend partner events representing Startgrid
� Be one of the primary point of contact for partners, including solving and synthesizing feedback on product or technical issues
� Advocate for partners within Startgrid
� Provide input to partner and user performance metrics and develop and maintain dashboard to measure success
� Identify and help implement process improvements and more efficient ways to work
� Help manage regional marketing budget

Required Skills and Experience
� Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in partner or channel marketing, partner account management or product marketing roles (social networks or consumer web preferred)
� Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact marketing programs with partners
� Excellent project management capabilities, demonstrated in a past work experience
� Customer focused
� Demonstrated ability to perform well in a start-up or small, fast-paced, dynamic environment
� High energy, self-starter with strong initiative and problem solving skills
� Strategic thinker who�s willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done
� Collaborative team player who works exceptionally well across functional groups
� Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
� Candidate must be willing to travel (~30%)
� Experience with Salesforce.com a plus

Description:

The Electronic Minimum Advertised Pricing (EMAP) and Authorized Reseller Manager will be the person responsible assuring adherence to our Reseller policies including the Plantronics Electronic Minimum Advertised Price (EMAP) policy. This unilateral policy sets the minimum advertised price across designated products. Violations of EMAP need to be tracked addressed and remedied accordingly through the direction of the EMAP Committee. The EMAP Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the policy is communicated to reseller partners, and that the decisions of the EMAP Committee are executed.

The scope of this role will include working with channel partners and the internal sales and channel teams for timely program set up, communications and additional program implementation as necessary. The EMAP manager needs to be able to balance the strategic aspects of this role regarding process implementation and setting new practices with partners and the tactical responsibilities as the sole day to day EMAP contact internally.

This role requires a detailed systems driven person that is able to contribute best practice ideas to the internal teams, get buy in and support internally and externally and put them into play. This person needs to be poised, think on their feet and stay calm under pressure or resistance from internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
Daily point of contact for EMAP management and key agency management contact for EMAP tracking
Violation communication to internal team and escalation as necessary within the organization
Coordinate the EMAP Committee meetings and preparing information/presentations for internal and/or external stakeholders including the field and executive teams
Take action on EMAP Committee decisions recommendations
Work within SFDC for account updates as necessary and communicating with Order Management
Support the channel marketing teams in implementing the Authorized Reseller Program and any follow on programs related to the channel as necessary


Develop a strategy for a potential Distributor�s searchable data base of authorized resellers:
Work with key internal stakeholders across the organization to add, delete and maintain pricing accuracy for new or EOL products
Provide standard and ad hoc reporting to the organization
Maintain EMAP process documentation
Program manage new process implementations working with internal and / or external stakeholders for a timely implementation.
Refine B2B program requirements and roll out during FY15
Contribute to best practice sharing for channel program improvement. Champion process or program change within the company and drive the program to a timely completion.

Skills:

B.A. Business, Communications, Economics or related field
At least 5+years experience in North America high tech Channel Marketing (US Canada)
Excellent program management skills
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
Strategic thinker as well as a strong tactician
Comfortable with and adept at interacting with senior and executive levels of management as well as with partners and field sales team members
Demonstrated experience working with the sales team and external channel partners

Specific responsibilities:

Skills:

Marketing Content Manager (Santa Cruz, CA)

We are looking for a Marketing Content Manager for a contract role at high tech company based in Santa Cruz, CA. The Marketing Content Manager will be responsible for aiding in the development of the content marketing strategy and executing the strategy by working with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Partner Marketing, Brand teams and external vendors to ensure that the right content is created and appropriately distributed across communications channels for the right audiences at the right point in the buyers��� journey.

This is a 40 hours per week; 9 month onsite role at the client�s offices in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions� employee.

Responsibilities:
� Work with client director to develop the content marketing strategy - defining audiences, buyer���s journey, appropriate messages and relevant content required across the entire strategy
� Work with marketing stakeholders to execute the content marketing strategy
� Work with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications and Partner Marketing teams to develop content
� Ascertain the right media outlets/communications vehicles for the appropriate content to reach the appropriate audiences
� Work with external vendors/agencies to execute the strategy
� Project manage the development of content and the publishing of the content

Requirements:
� 7 to 10 years of Marketing communications strategy and execution experience
� 5 years experience with digital/web content publishing programs
� Knowledge of content marketing strategy and approaches
� Knowledge of segmentation based marketing
� Working experience with Marketo tools, and Saleforce preferred
� Proactive, collaborative, exceptional project management, strong multi-tasking abilities
� BS/BA degree
