Event Program Manager
We are looking for a Marketing Events program manager for a contractor role at a global enterprise solutions company in Sunnyvale, CA. The Event program manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, programming and logistics management for major tradeshows and industry events in the US. This is an ideal role for a professional with 2 to 5 years of event management experience.
This is a 30-40 hours per week; 1 year role (extensions possible) onsite at the client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions� employee.
Responsibilities:
� Management of all event deliverables and logistics
� Driving cross functional team meetings
� Budget management
� Reporting analysis for dashboards
� Coordination between vendors and client internal systems
� Management, deployment of electronic communications (eDMs)
� Management of internal registration systems
� Managing attendee registration and hotel accommodations (directly or indirectly)
� Ordering and tracking promotional items (giveaways and raffles)
� Contributing to maintaining inventory and organization in Tradeshow storage room
� Providing on-site logistical and other support
� Set-up and tear-down of booth
Requirements:
� 2 - 5 years of corporate event and tradeshow management experience
� Collaborative, high energy, ability to learn, and extreme attention to detail; flawless execution
� Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
� Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
� BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
� 5 - 10% travel, in the US, to manage events
