Software Architect – OpenStack Contributor
OpenStack is a global community of software developers dedicated to building a standardized, scalable and feature rich cloud computing platform. The platform can be used by any organization to create and offer public or private clouds that can be run on their own hardware. All of the code for OpenStack is freely available under the Apache 2.0 license so companies are free to run it, build on it, or submit changes.
Work Location: Anywhere in the U.S. or Any other Country, too.
Huawei's OpenStack team is seeking a developer with broad software engineering experience and a deep interest in OpenStack. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute generally to OpenStack open source key modules such Nova, Cinder, Quantum. The role involves being a part of a distributed team and working independently. Ideal candidates should be passionate about cutting edge software development, and open source.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years proven record on software infrastructure experience
- 1+ years OpenStack software experience
- Strong programming skills with shell, Python.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, strong leadership and mentorship.
- Comfortable working in open source communities and interacting across mailing lists, IRC
