CALLING ALL ENEWSLETTER GURUS!
The City of Palo Alto Community Services Department (CSD) is looking to contract with an experienced marketing professional with expertise in the design, content and distribution of enewsletters.
CSD has strong ties with community members through its many activities and events in performing arts, museums, parks and recreation programs. CSD wishes to enhance the customers� current experience and reach out to new customers.
Scope of Services:
� Beginning this June or July, and including start up time as well as 12 months or approximately 50 weeks of enewsletter production:
� Production and distribution of weekly eblasts of upcoming calendar items and time sensitive information.
� Once a month production of an indepth enewsletter that features CSD's many programs and services from provided written reports, with hyperlinks to full reports.
� Design of a template for the enewsletter that meets City standards for content and form.
� Dissemination of the enewsletter through CSD�s Activenet database.
� Interface with CSD staff to coordinate the gathering of content and distribution of enewsletter.
Contractor must be able to:
� Research and understand CSD�s programs and services and the community it serves.
� Edit and write content as needed.
� Identify and implement other technology solutions as needed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the enewsletter.
� Monitor and analyze the open rate of the enewsletter. Interface with staff on strategies that improve the success of the enewsletters in building rapport with new customers, enhancing rapport with existing customers, and quantifying return on investment.
The inclusive cost of this contract is expected to be between $15,000- $20,000 maximum.
