About the OFJCC and the OFJCC Preschool
The Leslie Family Early Childhood Education Center at the Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC), has been serving children in the community for over 50 years. Located in Palo Alto, California, on the Mountain View border, the OFJCC is truly in the heart of Silicon Valley. This locale boasts a rich and remarkable history, home to some of todays most recognized high-tech companies.
The OFJCC is a community center on the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life that serves the South Peninsula through educational, social, cultural, fitness, sports and wellness programs. It serves as a nexus of diverse Jewish communities that opens doors and creates connections for robust and rewarding experiences where all are welcome. The OFJCC fosters new personal and community connections by uniting Jewish institutions, groups and individuals for the betterment of the entire community.
Our OFJCC Preschool offers a program with passionate teachers who support childrens play, exploration, flexibility, focus, inquiry, and creative/critical thinking. Our satellite location, situated at Congregation Beth Am, can accommodate 25 students and is staffed by our talented OFJCC teachers, has intimate class sizes, a vegetable garden, and playground. We offer 3s-4s mixed age classes, a Hebrew immersion option as well as a Gesher/Young 5s program.
