Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a Content Strategy Manager for a consulting assignment with one of our high-tech clients located in Santa Cruz, CA. The Content Strategy Manager consultant will establish process foundation for the development of content templates and governance with key focus on message architectures, editorial calendars, content inventory, content governance models and templates. The Consultant will be responsible for capturing all relevant marketing content and ensuring alignment to key selling triggers, as well as project managing the development of new and revised content. Additionally, the Consultant will partner with Marcom leads to publish internal and external content and will collaborate with Brand and Product/Segment marketing teams.
Specific responsibilities:
Establish the foundation for the development of content templates/governance. Key areas of focus include: message architecture, editorial calendars, capturing and tracking content inventory
Internal and external collaboration across multiple teams and organizations: Marketing Communications, Product/Segment Marketing, Field and Partner Marketing, Brand teams
Project manage the development and publishing of new/revised content. Partner with Marcom leads to develop and publish content internally and externally
Ensure all revised content/assets are tagged accurately by content themes
Maintain sensitivity to the customer web experience, inclusive of the greater web and clients' external corporate website
Skills:
4-6 years� developing and managing digital/web publishing programs
1+ years� client/agency/consulting experience a plus
1+ years IT focused marketing experience preferred
Knowledge of segmentation based marketing
Working knowledge and experience with Marketo and Salesforce a plus
Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus
Experience with publishing concepts and web user experience concepts
Practical knowledge and application of digital platforms
Proactive, collaborative, strong multi-tasking abilities
Strong public speaking abilities. Must be able to interface comfortably with internal and external audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Marketing, Business degree or similar required
RATE: D.O.E., as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 80% onsite at client�s office in Santa Cruz, CA; 20% offsite/remote. Local, S.F. Bay area applicants only, please. No phone calls.
