LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

 

KEY DEPARTMENTAL OBJECTIVES

 

The purpose of the Sales Department is to secure new and renewal business for Nexidia that results in achieving the company’s revenue and booking goals.

The company is known as a provider of audio search and speech analytics solutions.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager is responsible for responding to inbound inquiries from prospective customers (phone, email and web) as well as executing outbound calling campaigns to executives within Fortune 1000 accounts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Communicates Nexidia’s value using case studies and competitive differentiators to prospective customers

Responds to and follows up with inbound sales inquiries from prospective customers

Researches and pursues Fortune 1000 accounts to identify key executives and their strategic initiatives

Reaches out to and conducts early stage sales calls with executives at Fortune 1000 accounts

Coordinates account strategies with Nexidia’s Sales Directors on a daily basis

Follows Nexidia’s sales process and procedures

Understands and adheres to Nexidia compliance standards as they appear in the Employee Handbook, Corporate Compliance Policies, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Performs other related duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

 

Good understanding of technology platforms and applications within Fortune 1000 accounts

Consultative sales skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

Ability to navigate through multiple layers of an organization and effectively communicate at all levels

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as attention to detail

Highly professional and sensitive with confidential information

Proficient with Salesforce.com and MS Office Applications

Ability to work independently, follow specific business processes and meet deadlines

Excellent organizational skills

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 5 years technology sales

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands:  Some overnight travel by car or plane may be required.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment; work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
