Environment:
This resource will report to the SSA Validation and Testing team and will be responsible for the planning, execution, problem resolution, and re-execution as required and, of Validation test cycles. Metrics and reporting to the customer on the outcome of said testing. Maintain and developing new code (JCL,REXX, etc) as required.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Candidate must have at least 11yrs exp. Expert REXX skills are critical.
· Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, or job scheduling. z/OS (IBM mainframe) experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF.
· Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems.
· DB2 (SQL) programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others.
· Strong REXX and/or CLIST experience to automate job processing.
· Experience with Control-M or other mainframe-based job scheduling tools.
· Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management systems such as ENDEVOR.
· Experience with Fileaid/RDX
· Experience in an industry accepted SDLC.
