Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a part-time International Tradeshow Coordinator for a project based assignment with one of our high tech clients in San Jose, CA. The International Tradeshow Coordinator will support planning and execution of 3-5 small tradeshow events per quarter in France (no travel abroad required.) The Consultant will provide support for this three month project with the potential for the duration to extend.

The successful candidate has a demonstrated track record of tradeshow and general logistical support as related to event management and logistics management and execution experience. The ideal candidate is highly accountable, self-directed, organized and detail oriented.

Specific responsibilities:

Assist event team with planning and managing international tradeshow logistics including catering, materials, graphics, shipping, giveaways and staffing

Manage and track contracts, purchase orders, expense reports, invoices and sponsorship agreements

Manage event follow-up activities such as emailing, lead loading and reporting with support of the Field Marketing Associates

Translation of monthly newsletter and press releases from English to French

Assist in the coordination of webinars

Assist in managing quarterly budget for France

Skills:

2+ years of event management experience, supporting and executing international tradeshows and/or conferences, ideally in EMEA

Fluency (ability to read and write) in French required

Effective project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong budget management experience

Must be outgoing, self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Experience with Marketo preferred but not required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar required

RATE: D.O.E., as a W2 employee of Crawford Group

LOCATION: Fully onsite at client office in San Jose for a 2-4 day training period. Fully remote/offsite/WFH after training period. No travel required. Local, S.F. Bay area applicants only, please. No phone calls.

HOURS/DURATION: Part time, project based assignment (20 hours per week) Monday through Thursday, 5 hours per day (8am – noon, PST). ASAP – February 15, 2015.
