Marketing Director, Rangal
SmartOrg's new product Rangal™ has been implemented successfully with major customers, demonstrating its basic value and performance. Now we need to focus on refining the messaging, creating lead flow, and reinventing our historical marketing approach to orient the company around Rangal. We are seeking a broad-based marketing director comfortable with early stage efforts to own this responsibility and eventually build a marketing team around as the product matures. Initially this role will focus on product definition and marketing for Rangal, and evolve towards corporate marketing. The marketing director will partner with the CEO and work closely with existing staff to drive innovation, strategy and execution for Rangal.
Responsibilities include:
Innovation:
Refining and experimenting with marketing messages.
Interviewing customers and segment representatives.
Developing and testing personas and specific value propositions.
Defines Rangal-based solutions / whole product
Strategy:
Market and competitive research.
Marketing approach for Rangal.
Migration from historical business (Portfolio Navigator) to future business (Rangal)
Execution:
Oversight of website development and of integrated marketing plan.
Lead generation for Rangal.
Supporting overall sales and marketing activities for firm and for Rangal.
Successful applicants must be:
Comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy creating something new.
Be able to lead and follow in a collaborative team context.
Have experience with B2B marketing and solution sales for F1000 companies.
Have familiarity with Financial Planning and Analysis professionals and/or Portfolio management processes.
Able to work with limited resources.
