Serves as a consultative business partner, leading and contributing to the development of internal communications to help solve specific business problems and to foster employee understanding and engagement with the company purpose, goals and strategies.  Be recognized as an authority and thought leader in executive and employee communications, and contribute to the development and adoption of innovative principles and ideas across the company. Responsible for maintaining brand identity and developing internal communications in collaboration with company stakeholders. Serves as a primary Corporate Communications interface with customers on strategic communications projects, and advocates and educates on the development and use of communications tools, processes and programs.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
Internal communications strategy and planning. Provides independent and proactive counsel and leadership to executives, division leaders, key program teams and managers on message development and communication planning for external and internal audiences. Analyzes needs, designs effective and efficient communications solutions and advises on how communications can help meet business objectives. Coordinates with Creative Services team on messages, timing and channels. Coordinates, collaborates and consults with multiple departments including public relations, community involvement, investor relations, human resources and marketing to develop employee-facing communications that support company and business segment objectives.     
 
Account manager. Develops relationship with primary customers, including understanding the business, proactive definition of needs, communication planning, and ongoing project management. Role models active communications including teamwork, collaboration, listening, negotiating and influencing. As primary interface with business partners, works with Creative Services to ensure communications deliverables meet expectations. Facilitates company-wide brand stewardship, advocates for and participates in efforts to ensure employee understanding of and engagement with brand and advises business partners on solutions to operational issues that impede the company's ability to deliver on its brand promise.     
 
 Projects. Lead and participate in special and ongoing projects within Corporate Communications, and within the company as a representative of Corporate Communications. Demonstrates specialized expertise in one or more of the following areas: project management, electronic media, writing and editing, design, brand management and advertising. Develops and manages communication planning and management tools, and facilitates adoption of tools by clients and others outside Corporate Communications.
 
Quality Assurance: Responsible for message consistency and clarity to meet objectives of each project. Ensures brand is reflected in deliverables. Coordinates among all stakeholders to ensure optimum timing and message coordination.
 
Qualifications:
Communications expertise, writing and verbal skills. Hands-on experience in one or more communications disciplines, such as writing, design, electronic media and brand management. Project management and communication planning.     
 
Degree in related field. 5-7 years of experience in an agency or corporate communications environment.
 
Advanced knowledge of: Communications tactics and practices, communication planning and project management
