Leverage your speech recognition sales expertise!

Reporting to the CEO, the new Sales Director will be responsible for driving channel sales and business development for the U.S.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

• Driving sales revenue through building a strong indirect channel partner network

• Successfully position Verbio products and services within the context

• Educating the market/channel to the benefits of Verbio products and services

• Developing Go to market plans for each of the channel partners and agents, ensuring the efficient execution of those plans

• Responsible for identifying, prospecting, recruiting and on-boarding new channel partners and agents to refer or distribute Verbio products and services.

• Demonstrate Verbio products and services suite clearly and differentiate the Verbio product offering within the market

• Serve as the channel partner's single point of contact

• Develop proposals and negotiate channel/agent/pricing/contractual agreements

• Establish highly strategic, thoughtful and deliberate business plans within the existing framework of the Verbio transactional and metrics driven business model

• Create and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts, account plans/budgets

• Build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities to underpin target achievement and channel partners/agents

• Accurately forecast sales by month, quarter and annual revenues

• Ensure all pipeline activity is accurately recorded and updated within CRM.

• Track progress against targets on an ongoing basis and take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met

• Deliver consistently against all targets

• Ensure all partners and customers receive a professional handover to the Solution team and Technical Services team

Key experience

• Excellent knowledge of relevant speech recognition sectors and applications

• Sound knowledge of sales and customer service practices and principles

• Experience in sales and closing strategically important new business

• Experience in making and delivering presentations to current and potential customers

• Exceptional planning/organization skills

• Confident verbal/ written communication skills

• Strong presentation/negotiating/closing skills
