Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a part-time Demand Generation Manager for a project-based assignment with our technology client in Sunnyvale, Ca. The Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for defining demand generation campaign(s) to drive leads to the company's direct sales team. The Demand Generation Manager Consultant will assist in defining the strategy, development of the demand generation plan, providing and executing campaign implementation and monitoring and adapting the campaigns to achieve success.
The ideal Consultant enjoys a fast pace startup culture and has demonstrable experience and skills developing and executing demand generation programs in the networking industry.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and define strategy for demand generation programs/plans
Determine the appropriate mix of on-line and off-line campaign elements, including: search, social, direct mail, email, webinars, content syndication, direct response online banners – Campaigns driven with the most compelling and creative calls to action to deliver stated ROI and contribution to leads goals
Execute tactics for demand generation programs including strategic approaches to optimize campaign implementations
Ensure adequate goals and metrics are collected to assess campaign/program success and required improvements
Skills:
7-10 years' experience developing and executing demand generation plans/programs in the technology industry (ideally for a software start-up targeting IT organizations)
2-5 years' minimum experience in the networking industry supporting demand generation programs, ideally marketing to IT decision makers
Experience working in a start-up environment preferred, but not required
Ability to write effective demand generation copy
Superb communications skills, ability to provide visibility and communicate on campaign effectiveness
Data segmentation, list management and database marketing skills
Salesforce.com experience is required
Experience working with marketing automation plug in tools for Salesforce.com (Mail Chimp, Pardot or similar) is strongly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent project management skills with the ability to take programs from inception to completion with minimal supervision
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar is required
RATE: D.O.E. as a W-2 or 1099 employee of Crawford Group
LOCATION: Primarily offsite/virtual/remote with the flexibility to be onsite at client's offices in Sunnyvale, CA.
HOURS/DURATION: Part-time 15 hours per week project based consulting. Hours are flexible Monday through Friday during standard business hours (PST) starting November 24, 2014 - March 27, 2015. No phone calls please.
